A flower truck blooming with charm.
The Little Flower is a soon to be mobile flower truck in St. Augustine, FL that provides individual stems, ready made bouquets, or build your own bouquets, to those who love arranging florals, for themselves for loved ones.
Since The Little Flower will be at farmer’s markets, festivals, pop ups, and other local events, it was essential that the truck not only stands out, but invites people in to take in all the lovely smells, and hopefully a bouquet.
With the truck being mobile, it allows for the business to move to its customers. This also means that the truck has to have moving curb appeal. Due to being the first flower truck to St. Augustine, we wanted to really make an entrance.
We needed to create something FEMININE and INVITING in order to show that The Little Flower is the MAIN STOP you want to make at the event BECUASE OF THE UNIQUE EXPERIENCE and undeniable charm.
A soft, bouncy typeface to emulates the fresh, plush flowers that you will see on the back of the truck. This gives the branding that feminine touch, without feeling like it is overly girly or immature. The illustration of a bouquet is made as a brand element, and can be used on its own, or with the T.L.F. initials.
The owner of The Little Flower is a remarkable florist, so it was important to make the bouquet illustration unique
to the brand, so all of the floral illustrations were based on images of her work. The feeling of hospitality and friendliness in the brand also pays homage to the volunteering the business does with at-risk youth, and giving back to the community.
